This year we went to see the Temple Square lights after Christmas. It was great, it wasn't as crowded and we were relaxed. I think we will do this every year from now on. We hung out down town and ate at the mall, went to the Church History museum and then saw the lights. It was a great night.
Christmas morning was perfect. The kids got up at 7. We opened presents and then had a yummy breakfast. Then we just hang out at home and the kids played with their toys. That night we went to Carrie's house and had dessert and played games. The kids did the nativity and then we did the candle ceremony. It was a great day to spend with family. I just really love Christmas.
We had a great Christmas Eve. We went to Grandpa Larsen's house. We had lots of yummy food, did the nativity, and of course the pinata. The kids loved the whole thing. After when we got home, the kids opened their Christmas pajamas and were super exited for the morning. It was a great night filled with excitment and tradition.
I love this tradition we have of going to the cabin right before Christmas. It is always so much fun. We go with two of Chad's brothers and their families. There is lots of sledding, snowmobiling, games, food and fun. I love hanging out in the cabin and not caring if it is a blizzard outside. It is so nice to get away from the Christmas craziness and relax. By the way Bentley is starting to drive the snowmobiles and is doing a great job. Taylor actually got to ride this year and loves it.
