Happy Anniversary Babe!

So i know he is going to kill me for posting this picture, but this is why i love him. The picture is so old. The baby in the picture is Bentley. Tomorrow we celebrate our 6 year anniversary. I know 6 years isn't that long. Many of you have been married longer, but we have been through a lot in those 6 years.

-We've moved 4 times
-Remodeled 2 homes
-Had 2 healthy boys
-School, school, school
-We have changed jobs 7 times

Those are just a few of the things we have been up to. The truth is i wouldn't change a thing. I am so lucky to be married to a man who works so hard for his family. He loves his kids and still loves to have fun. Most of all, i'm so lucky to be married to my best friend. I love you Chad! Here's to 60+ more amazing years.

Winter Days

My theory is: If it's cold it might as well be snowing or raining. Well apparently mother nature does not listen to me. I am just tolerating winter right now. The boys are ready to go outside and play. Lately we have been going to the park. The boys could play forever. I last about 45 minutes before i freeze. Other then that we have just been hanging out. Lincoln is obsessed with watching our neighbor's cats through the window. Bentley is learning lots in preschool and started swimming lessons. Chad started a new job with Rio Tinto. He has to wear a hard hat, steel toe shoes, safety goggles and he got fitted for a respirator. I swear he is just doing engineering stuff. I keep asking him if I should be worried. Me, well i'm just doing the same old stuff. We are all great and can't wait for spring. (I know we still have awhile)

Home Sweet Home

So i know many of you have been asking for me to post pictures of my house. Well here you go. I must say it is a work in progress. There is plenty we still need to do, more decorating to be done. But for now we are loving it. The blog entry below has the before pictures. I know it would be great to have them by each other but they were on different computers and it got confusing. Anyways, enjoy.

The kitchen, we are still missing some cabinet doors that are being built.

The family room, i must say i really like having hard wood floors. I don't like that my boys scratch them.

The entry and stairs to basement

Master bedroom, still not sure how to decorate this room

The master bath, instead of towel racks we did hooks and i love them. I never have to fold a towel again.

Bentley's room

Lincoln's room

The basement, sorry this picture is kind of dark i should have turned on the lights. Pretty much this is just the boys play room. There is also a bathroom and 2 bedrooms down stairs that are empty so i didn't take pictures of them.

The Good the Bad and the UGLY!!

So this is what the lovely house looked like before we started. This is the basement. i just wasn't feeling the purple carpet.

Our master bedroom. The carpet is super clean huh!

Lincoln's room, I'm pretty sure they let their kids paint and color the carpet.

The kitchen, the hard wood floors were trashed to say the least.

A little boys playground

So if Bentley got to choose between Disneyland and the Car Show, I'm pretty sure he would choose the Car Show. Bentley and Lincoln were in heaven. The South Town Expo Center filled with cars. Cars that you can get in and climb through and pretend you are driving. Every car brand and style you can think of. Bentley left the expo kicking, screaming and crying. He did not want to leave.

Bentley climbing through the army trucks. The hummer was his favorite.

Bentley standing in front of a Bentley.

Lincoln standing in front of a Lincoln. I am in love with this car. I'm thinking of buying it. I'm pretty sure we can afford it (a girl can dream can't she).

Catch Up

Well i'm back. I finally feel settled in. So this is my catch up blog. Christmas was so much fun. The boys were so excited. December was kind of a blur with the move and everything. We are all doing great. We love our new house. I will blog pictures of my house in another blog. Anyways, enjoy the pictures there are a lot of them.

New Christmas PJ's. Don't worry Lincoln pooped in his during the night so he didn't have them on Christmas morning.

The boys hitting the pinata, a Larsen Christmas Eve tradition.

My little wise man.

Chad is so excited about Christmas can't you tell.

Christmas morning, Bentley running to the tree.

Lincoln did awesome opening presents. He was into it.

The boys playing in the snow. Lincoln did not like being in snow gear.

The boys meeting Santa. Lincoln was not so excited to meet him.

The fun thing about moving is all the big boxes.

Temple Square, look Chad is actually smiling.

Festival of Trees, Bentley of course loved this most of all.

So long November!

Holy cow another month has passed. I can't believe it. We had a great November. Thanksgiving was fantastic. We are almost ready to move into our house. We should be moving in next week. No better time then right before Christmas huh! Luckily i am all ready for Christmas. It has been so much fun having my parents back. The boys just love them. Well, enjoy the holidays everybody. I know we will. Someday when i am unpacked i will blog again. Until then, Merry Christmas!

Just can't get enough of these two.

Lincoln is learning to skateboard. Watch out Tony Hawke.

Bentley's imagination is still growing. He made a bed out of my laundry basket.
